Show Notes

During football at four, Tim Donelly points out that today should be a holiday. The NFL season starts today, but not for game action. Players report to camp and the first team to have both rookies and veteran report are the New York Jets. He discusses how everyone will be tuning into the first preseason games because of Aaron Rodgers. He also describes how the NFL is using the excitment of Rodgers playing for the Jets to tell the story of Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young both through the series Hard Knocks and the preseason.

Also, yesterday NC State head basketball Kevin Keatts joined the program and Tim asked him if he considered his program to be "transfer U." Keatts response sparked something in Tim and he wanted to discuss how the life of the transfer portal is just what college basketball is nowadays. However, not every team is doing it like NC State with the "mass" transfers.
