<p>Tonight is the 2023 NHL Draft which is taking place at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. The top prospect in the draft is Connor Bedard, a highly skilled forward who plays for the Regina Pats of the WHL. Chris Lea & Dennis Cox discuss the Carolina Hurricanes' strategy in the draft as they hold the 30th pick in the first round.</p>
<p>Also, Norte Dame is looking to triple its football media rights fees. The Fighting Irish wants $65 million to $75 million annually for the next deal. If Norte Dame wants that kind of money, they might have to give up being independent for football and finally join a power five conference. </p>
