<p dir="ltr">During the Starting Five, Tim Donnelly and producer Dennis Cox discuss Washington Commanders head coach Ron Rivera putting all the success of the season on quarterback Sam Howell’s shoulders, the massive NFL contracts recently, the USA-Netherlands World Cup Final rematch tonight, and Frank Reich announcing Bryce Young as the Carolina Panthers starting quarterback.</p>
<p dir="ltr">The Carolina Hurricanes signed forward Sebastian Aho to an 8-year, $78 million contract extension. Tim feels as though this was a no-brainer move for the team, and how this ensures the culture of the Canes will be intact for years to come. </p>
<p dir="ltr">Also, tomorrow is the final day of the 2023 ACC Football Kickoff from Charlotte. The coaches and players who will have media availability will be from Boston College, Clemson, North Carolina, NC State, and Wake Forest. Tim shares what he’s looking forward to the most on the final day. </p>
