<p>Sam Howell has finally been named the starting quarterback of the Washington Commanders for the season opener. Tim believes that this decision by coach Ron Rivera finally ends what was a one-sided competition for the starting job. Tim explains how the Commanders mishandled this situation. </p>
<p>Also, the Carolina Panthers and Bryce Young look to have a bounce-back week in their second preseason game. The Panthers play the New York Giants tonight at MetLife Stadium. After losing their first preseason game 27-0 against the New York Jets, Tim gives his wish list of things he wants to see the team improve tonight.</p>
