<p>Rumor has it the Carolina Hurricanes are looking to sign New York Rangers right winger Vladimir Tarasenko as part of the free agency period. A deal was supposedly in the works, but when Tarasemko hired a new agent, it reset the clock on any process. Paul Ihander & Chris Lea discuss the Hurricanes' continuing to try and improve their roster and Dmitry Orlov needing to make the call to Tarasenko since they grew up together. </p>
<p>Also, what does the future of sports television look like following the ESPN layoffs recently? ESPN released a total of twenty on-air talent last week. Stephen A. Smith says that more layoffs are expected. </p>
