<p>The Carolina Panthers and Edge rusher Brian Burns have yet to agree to a contract extension, and it's uncertain if Burns will play Week 1 of the NFL season when the Panthers travel to face that Atlanta Falcons.</p>
<p>Also, rookie guard Chandler Zavala, who was a 2nd-round draft pick in the 2023 NFL Draft out of NC State football, will start at right guard for the Carolina Panthers in front of rookie QB and No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young.</p>
