<p>ACC Commissioner Jim Philips, who was the Northwestern Athletic Director from 2008-2021, was named in lawsuits filed by former Northwestern athletes over recent hazing allegations that have taken place across Northwestern athletics. </p>
<p>With an already stacked blue line, the Carolina Hurricanes don't need to trade for San Jose Sharks defenseman, and reigning Norris Trophy winner, Erik Karlsson.</p>
