Sharia Huda is a first generation Bangladeshi born, native New Yorker. She is a leader in the EdTech space and has dedicated her time in mentoring startup founders and corporate professionals about the education ecosystem. Her expertise is on digital trends, product fit and the future of work. Sharia completed her B.A. in Speech and Hearing Sciences from SUNY University at Buffalo, concentrating on accessibility research. Prior to the corporate world, she began her career as the Head EdTech specialist at a school, where she rolled out various applications based on departmental and student needs, such as GSuite for Education, customized lesson plans and piloted a STEM Fundamentals course. Aside from consulting, she currently co-organizes the New York EdTech meetup (8k members). During her free time she enjoys reading books by Don Miguel Ruiz, practicing jiu-jitsu or unwinding with hip-hop music.
