Julia Rock is the owner of Rock Career Development, a career solutions firm that empowers ambitious professionals to unlock and achieve their full career potential. Julia is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW), Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP), and a career and leadership development expert. Through her coaching, clients are able to secure dream positions while earning their worth and then some. Julia is passionate about helping others find and pursue their passions because she believes that if you can change your career, you can change your life. Julia has also achieved corporate career success working for one of the largest oil and gas companies in the world. She is currently the lead Controller for three major chemical plants in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, overseeing ~$1B in operating expenses. Julia obtained her undergraduate degree from Temple University, and then after working in finance for a number of years, she returned to business school to earn her MBA from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. To date, Julia has been featured in several major publications, including Fortune Magazine, Business Insider, Monster, Blavity, and xoNecole. She is also a current contributor for xoNecole, informing women of color on how to level up in their careers. Julia also serves as a speaker, panelist, and workshop presenter for various professional, religious, and community organizations.
