In this bite size clip, Zoe talks me through the moment she decided to pull out of the Olympic Games to prioritize her health. It was a decision that crushed not only her chance at Olympic gold, but also that of her rowing partner, Jackie Kiddle.
Jackie is still rowing and, at the time of writing, was in Poland for the World Rowing Coastal Champs.
Zoe is the healthiest and happiest she has been in years and is currently working towards a degree which is oarsome (see what I did there? One for the rowers).
