Show Notes
This “bite size” podcast episode comes from my full conversation with Rachel Maia. If you like this snippet, feel free to listen to her whole remarkable story when you have a spare hour.
Rach is mum of three from Whanganui. She is also one of the best lower limb amputee para-climber in the world. Hell of a story. She only got the leg amputated 3 years ago after sucking up a lifetime of pain from a climbing wall injury she suffered in her teens.
In 2019, Rach made the decision to amputate below her left knee.
