Chanel Harris-Tavita is a 24 year old rugby league player for the Warriors- he's bloody good, too! Last weekend (Saturday September 3) he played his final game for the Warriors against the Gold Coast Titans at Mt Smart Stadium in Auckland.
He made a decision earlier this year to have a break for the sport that has brought him money and fame and is also the only career he has known.
He's not calling it retirement. He's not ruling out a future return. But he has no idea of what his 2023 will look like, other than it will include travelling and journalling.
Its scary...but also bloody exciting.
He's a fascinating guy and I really hope you guys like this conversation.
