Very exciting day for Victoria Taylor.  At 4am this morning (September 1, 2022) she will start her attempt to beat the official world record for running the length of NZ, a record that has stood since 1975.

To claim the record, she will havew to run about three full marathons every day for 18 days.  Just let that sink in for a second....around 126km per day for 18 days!  Its a mindblowing thing to attempt.

What makes this attempt even more remarkable is she is the mum of a two year old so has done most of her training pushing him in a stroller.

She knows what she is in for though, ten years ago when she was 19 she ran the length of NZ in 34 days.
