On today’s episode, I talk about South Asian History Month, a month that’s been chosen to mark and celebrate the culture, history and lives of South Asian people in the UK. This is the first year South Asian History Month has been celebrated officially. It runs from 18 July to 17 August 2020. It aims to raise the profile ofSouth Asian History in the UK through education, arts, culture and commemoration. The goal is to help people better understand the diversity of present-day Britain, as well as improving levels of social cohesion between the various communities.
