Start your week off with a brand new episode of The DFO Rundown with Jason Gregor and Frank Seravalli. To start things off, the two talked about the racist incident that occurred in the ECHL on Saturday night involving Jacob Panetta and Jordan Subban.
From there, they hit on the NHL's iron man streak, which Keith Yandle could break tonight with game 965. It's currently held by Doug Jarvis and Frank interviewed him for a story on Daily Faceoff earlier this week. Also, what's the latest on the Flyers (will they move Claude Giroux?) and a new edition of Buy or Sell with Tyler Yaremchuk.
After that, Gregor had a chance to chat with Team USA Women's Hockey Head Coach Joel Johnson. They talked about the rivalry with Team Canada, what their roster looks like heading into the Beijing Games, and the Olympic experience. Joel has a unique coaching history himself. He's not just a hockey coach and has led golf and soccer teams at the collegiate level. He talked about how he adapts, what lessons he carries over, and his coaching philosophies.
