GUESTS
Brooke Rowan is Lifeline’s Program manager and social worker for Haiti. Brooke began working with Lifeline in 2017. She graduated in 2015 with a BS in Psychology from UAB. During graduate school, she spent a few weeks in Uganda with Compassion International, continued on to serve as Director over a mission site with YouthWorks Inc. in Cincinnati, Ohio, and interned with Lifeline. These experiences furthered her desire to work for a non-profit whose mission was to not only advocate for the lives of vulnerable children, but share the love of Christ while doing so. She was thrilled to accept a full-time position with Lifeline after graduating from the University of Alabama with her MSW in May of 2017.

Josh Caldwell is currently the Vice President of International Ministry at Lifeline. He is passionate about Christ’s name being made known among the nations. His desire in ministry is to share the name of Jesus, disciple others, and care for the fatherless around the world. Josh has a Bachelors degree from Samford University in Family Studies and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from Liberty University. He has been on staff at Valleydale Baptist and the Church at Brook Hills in the Birmingham, AL area serving in Children, Youth and Outreach ministries.  Josh has also traveled to several countries on mission, leading teams of people in Central America, South America and Africa to share the name of Christ. Josh and his wife Staci reside in Birmingham, AL. In 2009, they felt called to international adoption.  In 2011 they adopted their son Moses, from Uganda. In 2016, they adopted Richardson, from Haiti.

Troy and Jimi Meyers are a Lifeline family who adopted from Haiti. In September of 2013, the Meyers family applied to adopt from Haiti. At the time, they were parents to two teenage sons, Colton and Luke. They recently brought home their children, Lyneda and Anderson, from Haiti in the midst of COVID-19. This family will share more about their story, but they are such a testament to God’s faithfulness through the process of adoption. The Meyers currently reside in Idaho and are bonding/attaching beautifully with their children during this season.
