Pressure treated lumber is the go to material for framing decks in almost any market, anywhere. But steel has slowly gaining attention over the last number of years mainly via Trex Elevations steel framing. But now new options are coming to market such as Fortress Evolutions steel framing and DexSpan aluminum framing that are helping from both a distribution, availability, and price point.
