In this episode of RANE's Essential Geopolitics podcast, Emily Donahue speaks to Adriano Bosoni, Senior Europe analyst, about a controversy over disbursements. The German government recently released a proposal to link the disbursement of EU funds to maintaining a strong rule of law. The European Commission and several Western European countries are worried that the rule of law is weakening in countries like Poland and Hungary. But Germany's proposal isn't being met with much enthusiasm.
