In an abrupt reversal, Ontario Premier Doug Ford promised to repeal the legislation that revoked the right to strike for educational workers in the province. That wrapped up the walkout by CUPE members after two days. But negotiations between this union – and others – continue with the province and so questions remain in terms of how both parties will find a way out of this dispute without another work stoppage.
