Greg Abbott’s desk late Wednesday; the town of Fairview is pushing back on McKinney’s expanding airport, creating a citizen’s task force to draft a plan to minimize the project’s potential harm to the environment, property values and the town’s quality of life; and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints inched closer to breaking ground on its Fairview Texas Temple Tuesday after the Town Council voted to approve a parcel map for the divisive building, which has pitted the small Collin County town in a stand-off for nearly two years.
