עֶס זַיינֶען דָא צוֵוייעֶרלֵיי חוּקִּים

There are two kinds of laws:

א) אַ גֶעזֶעץ וֶועלכֶער שׁאַפט לעֶבעֶן

(a) laws that generate life and

ב) אַ געֶזעֶץ וועֶלכעֶר וועֶרט באַשׁאַפעֶן פוּן לעֶבעֶן

(b) laws that result from life.

מעֶנשלִיכֶע געֶזעֶצעֶן זַיינעֶן געֶשׁאַפעֶן פוּן לעֶבעֶן

Man-made laws result from life.

דעֶרפאַר זַיינעֶן זֵיי אִין יעֶדעֶר לאַנד פאַרשִׁידעֶן, לוֹיט דִי תְּנָאִים פוּן לאַנד

That is why they differ in every country, each according to its local circumstances.

תּוֹרַת ה', אִיז דעֶר גֶ-טלִיכעֶר געֶזעֶץ וועֶלכעֶר שׁאַפט אַ לעֶבעֶן

G‑d’s Torah is the Divine law that generates life.

תּוֹרַת ה' אִיז תּוֹרַת אֱמֶת

It is “the Torah of truth”

דִי תּוֹרָה אִיז אִין אַלעֶ עֶרטעֶר אוּן אִין אַלעֶ צַייטעֶן גלַייך

the same in all places and at all times.

תּוֹרָה אִיז נִצְחִית

The Torah is eternal.
