טֶרֶם הַנְּסִיעָה מִמְּקוֹם מְדוּרוֹ
Before leaving your hometown,
יְסַדֵּר אַ חַסִידִישׁעֶן פאַרְבּרֵיינְגעֶן
you should hold a chassidic farbrengen
וִיקַבֵּל בִּרְכַּת הַפְּרֵידָה מֵחֲבֵרָיו הַטּוֹבִים
and receive the parting blessings of your good friends,
וּכְמַאֲמָר הַיָּדוּעַ
in the spirit of the well-known adage:
חֲסִידִים זעֶגעֶנעֶן זִיך נִיט
Chassidim don’t bid each other farewell,
ווַייל מעֶן פאָהְרט זִיך קֵיינְמאָל נִיט פאַנאַנְדעֶר
for they never really separate.
וואוּ מְ'אִיז — אִיז מעֶן אֵיין מִשְׁפָּחָה
Wherever they are, they are one family.
