In 2018, a South Carolina doctor was arrested and charged with involuntary manslaughter following the shooting death of 30-year-old William Holland. According to police, the two men had been at Lazzarini’s home the previous fall looking at Lazzarini’s gun collection when Holland was shot in the chest.
