After a phone conversation about the escalating U.S.-Canada tariff dispute, U.S. President Donald Trump alleged that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was using the situation to bolster his political position. Alberta announced it would roll out its plan for “compassionate intervention” programs for drug addicts. Following a short decline in support, the Conservatives seem to be reclaiming their lead over the Liberals just days ahead of selecting their new leader.
