Waterloo police say a viral video showing several thieves stuffing hockey bags with liquor is part of a province-wide organized theft trend. A First Nation community in Manitoba has unilaterally declared a ban on non-Indigenous hunters from entering Crown land, which they say is their traditional territory. A Toronto elementary school teachers' union handed out more than a dozen awards this year honouring outstanding contributions, but not one of them was for excellence in teaching without an activist lens.
