The Cutting Floor

In this week’s episode of The Cutting Floor, John explores the narrative of Matthew 21 and Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem, showing how Jesus, in His sovereignty, orchestrated the entire event from the very beginning. In this passage, Jesus intentionally creates a public scene for all to witness Him as King, the one Who comes in peace to redeem the world.

This week, Pastor John kicked off our Easter sermon series, Rescued, with a message from Psalm 107. In this episode of The Cutting Floor, he goes deeper into the passage, exploring how God’s sovereignty can lead us to turn (or return) to Him. Psalm 107 shows how, in His mercy and kindness, God allows people to reach places of desperation so they recognize their need for Him and cry out for rescue.
