David B. Ostler has lived and served on four continents as a bishop, stake
president, mission president, and director of a Church historical site and visitors' center.
He wrote Bridges: Ministering to Those Who Question and Healing Our Divides:
Answering the Savior’s Call to Become Peacemakers. He is a retired business
executive who managed domestic and international businesses focused on improving
health care. With Rachelle, they have six wonderful children, some of whom no longer
believe in Latter-day Saint teachings. They split their time between Northern Virginia
and Midway Utah.
