But what if we co-exist with these often carnivorous creatures—not at a distance, but in our day to day lives? What if some of these highly intelligent cryptids have refined their camouflage to such a degree that they've become indistinguishable from the rest of us, compelling one to wonder if our co-workers, our neighbors, our lovers... or perhaps even our best friends are not who they appear to be?
