After defeating the Tampa Bay Lightning in six games, the Colorado Avalanche have won the Stanley Cup! It's been a long time coming for a team that's been a favourite over the last few years, but the Avalanche finally got over the hump, with Cale Makar winning the Conn Smythe Trophy. For the Lightning, it's their third straight year in the final, with 46 playoff wins in that stretch, just two shy of the first threepeat since the New York Islanders of the early 1980's. What is their legacy going to look like? Will they be remembered for having a championship pedigree that refused to die, or for their antics at the end of the game that left a sour taste?
