Batting first, Pakistan were given a big scare by the Netherlands, who took early wickets and had Pakistan rocking after the fall of Babar Azam. Saud Shakheel and Rizwan were able to stead the ship though and despite wickets for Bas de Leede, Pakistan managed to reach a good score of 286.
