Rene Farrell forged a successful career for Australia across all three formats of the game. Maisy Gibson rose to prominence playing an integral role in the success of the Sydney Thunder WBBL team that won the inaugural WBBL competition. Michael Klinger amassed over 11 thousand first class runs throughout his distinguished First Class career predominately for Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia and Gloucestershire. When he retired he was the leading run scorer in the history of the Big Bash and has since only been passed by Chris Lynn and Aaron Finch. Kristen Beams was one of the first female cricketers to take the plunge and move states to pursue her dream of playing at the highest level. She would go on to represent Australia with distinction as a leg spinner across all three formats of the game. Peter George always had a dream of wearing the Baggy Green and this would become a reality for him as progressed through the ranks at the West Torrens cricket club and playing for South Australia at u-19 level. He made an early impression with the ball on debut for South Australia in November 2008 claiming 4-56 against Tasmania including the wicket of current Australian captain Tim Paine. He had further success in the 2009/10 summer taking career best figures of 8-84 against Tasmania and finishing equal second on the wicket takers list for the season with 36 wickets at 30.44. This lead to him being on standby for Ryan Harris with the Australian team in New Zealand, representing Australia A against Sri Lanka and touring England for the Test series against Pakistan in 2010. Peter would eventually get his opportunity to put on the Baggy Green in Bangalore and joining an elite club of bowlers who have dismissed Sachin Tendulkar in their first Test Match. Nathan Hauritz burst onto the International Cricket scene receiving a call up to the Australian team as a 20 year old after making an early impression playing for Queensland and Australia at u-19 level where he played alongside the likes of Michael Clarke, Ed Cowan, Mitch Johnson, Shaun Marsh, Shane Watson and Andrew McDonald. He went on to represent Australia in 17 Test Matches claiming 63 wickets with career best figures of 5-53. Nathan also played 58 ODI's also picking up 63 wickets with best figures of 4-29. Hauritz was also more than handy with the bat scoring three half centuries for Australia and had a highest First Class score of 146 for NSW against South Australia in 2010. Tim Ludeman was an accomplished First Class and short format cricketer who represented South Australia, Adelaide Strikers and Melbourne Renegades throughout a career that consisted of 47 First Class matches, 36 List A Games and 55 T20 appearances. His best work with the gloves came in the 2012/13 summer for South Australia where he claimed 47 dismissals for the season. With the bat, Ludeman impressed with two shield tons to his name & a magnificent 167 against the touring South African side in 2016. He famously lit up the Big Bash with an electrifying 92 not out off 44 balls for the Adelaide Strikers against the highly fancied Melbourne Stars. Leah Poulton represented Australia in 2 Tests, 48 ODIs and 40 T20Is as well playing over 100 games for NSW. She was a high quality top order batter who had a reputation for scoring runs quickly which was confirmed when she became the first female to score a century in Women's domestic T20 cricket for NSW. In her distinguished career, Leah was a part of two successful ICC World T20 Campaigns for Australia top scoring in the 2010 decider. Leah is a four time winner of the Belinda Clark medal which is awarded to the premier female cricketer in NSW. Graham Winter played 14 First Class Matches for South Australia between 1981/2 and 1983/4. He was a part of the successful Sheffield Shield winning team of 1981/2 and the Domestic One Day Title in 1983/4. His personal achievements include taking best figures of 7-65 against the West Indies. Graham retired from cricket and pursued a career in performance psychology which saw him working at the Australian Cricket Academy under Rod Marsh with some of the icons of Australian cricket such as Ricky Ponting, Justin Langer and Adam Gilchrist. He would later work with Australian Olympic teams including the memorable Sydney 2000 games. In our first episode of the Cricket Library Podcast for 2020 we discuss Graham's cricket career as well as delve into his learnings from working with elite athletes. Graham also provides insights into his latest book Mindful Cricket and how he has been helping players and coaches to implement these strategies to perform at their best. Daryl Tuffey represented New Zealand across all three formats claiming 77 Test wickets and 110 ODI wickets for his country. He played 91 First Class matches claiming 288 wickets with the remarkable best figures of 7-12. In our chat we discuss his progression from First Class Cricket into the International arena, the three World Cup campaigns he was involved in, the leadership of Stephen Fleming as well as the first T20 International between NZ and Australia. Daryl also shares his views on the current series between Australia and NZ in particular the tremendous efforts of Neil Wagner with the ball. Peter McIntyre progressed through the ranks at Essendon playing club cricket to make his debut for Victoria in the Sheffield Shield at the MCG in March 1989. A couple of years later he would spend some time at the Commonwealth Bank Cricket Academy eventually moving to play First Class Cricket for South Australia. Peter was selected to play for Australia A in the controversial 1994/5 Series which featured Australia, England and Zimbabwe. It was this summer that he was selected to become Baggy Green 364 when he was selected for the Ashes Test at the Adelaide Oval. Peter later had the opportunity to tour the sub-continent playing a Test against India dismissing Sachin Tendulkar. One of the great summers for Peter was the 1995/6 summer winning the Sheffield Shield where his work with the bat proved to be invaluable. His First Class career came to a close in 2002 having played 97 matches with 322 wickets to his name. We trust you will enjoy this episode of the Cricket Library Podcast with Peter McIntyre.

Wayne Holdsworth was a distinguished First Class Cricketer who claimed 212 wickets in his career. He made an immediate impact for NSW claiming 6-55 on debut at the MCG against Victoria and went on to win a number of Sheffield Shield titles with NSW including a match winning 7-41 against Queensland in the 1992/3 decider at the SCG. This was followed by a berth on the 1993 Ashes tour where he will long be remembered for taking a hat trick against Derbyshire. Not to be forgotten are his batting exploits in the the Mercantile Mutual Cup dispatching a career best 49* off 18 balls against Tasmania at the North Sydney Oval. Marty Rhone is a household name in the entertainment industry having performed on stage and screen to audiences around the world. Mark Atkinson had a distinguished career for Tasmania throughout the 1990s playing 95 First Class matches with and against some of cricket's finest. At the completion of his playing career he established Elite Cricket Coaching and has recently been appointed as the coach of the Alcohol. Think Again Western Fury. Mark is also the editor of an exciting new cricket magazine Cricket Life which will hit newsagents on June 23.
