It is very common that people ask about my habits, routines, plans and goals. Whether this is going to the gym at 6 in the morning before school or not going to college, I have always used the tactic of being ignorant to what my plans are. But often times I have to reveal something eventually because if they are not satisfied with "I don't know what I will do after high school" then they will ask again in the future. I learned today that all they want is an entertaining story. So give them an entertaining story and talk about the unimportant details while hiding the important pieces. As long as they are entertained they will be satisfied with your answers.
