32% of America’s 12th grade students do not read at even the most basic level. 45% of those young students do not do math at the most basic level. Only 22% of those students do. The public schools in America are in utter disarray, so says the nation’s report card. Right thinking American’s know that critical race theory is dead wrong, and that diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) is very wrong for America, as well. But SEL, now so very universally pervasive, can be extremely harmful, as well. SEL is a therapeutic approach to education. Teachers conduct a form of group therapy in the classroom. Public school children in the classroom gather in a circle, sit on mats, akin to a yoga experience, and the teacher leads the group in a radical empathy experiment, and leads the class in a circle in an emotional self-examination. The exercise is internal to the neglect of external subject matters. The SEL empathy generated is used by the teacher to indoctrinate students in various left-wing ideologies, from climate change extremism, to support the transgender ideology, to globalism, to the gay agenda, and more liberal and radical causes and ideologies. The concept developed as far back as the 1960s, invented by Dr. James Comer. The motivation for the origination of SEL in 1960 was legitimate, for it was designed to teach underprivileged minority students in New Haven, CT how to relegate their emotions, make decisions, and behave appropriately in schools. However well-intentioned, SEL quickly became mostly political and became an excellent tool for radical-thinking teachers, counselors, and school psychologists to indoctrinate children in liberal ideology. This focus on internal and emotional matters led to a certain de-emphasizing of external subjects, including and especially reading, math, writing, and basic educational subjects. Many experts agree that this therapeutic approach to life has taken over the lives of Gen-Z to the detriment of these young people. These same experts argue that this unceasing attention to emotions and the emotionally difficult parts of a student’s life create EMOTIONAL INSTABILITY. SEL seeks to dominate the thinking of the child and as such, sabotages the parent-child relationship by undermining the moral authority which a parent rightly has over values and religion in the home. It is another attempt by radical, some say anti-American, individuals to disrupt and even destroy the family, and treats children as agents of social change rather than as individuals to be educated. This radical activism seems to be made a part of everything, including math, history, language, and all other subjects, and the objective of education becomes the training-up of children to become social activists. SEL, these experts say, is a disaster, and left unchecked can severely weaken family bonds and authority or even destroy them. So that, SEL became a total indoctrination system and social ideology was the main and most important thing that children 12th grade and below in America’s disastrous public schools were learning. The bottom line was that schools and their education came in many instances to replace the family as the place and with the individuals where public school children learned values and principles and not at home and not from the parents. Public schools in America were notoriously populated by liberal/radical teachers determined to change the moral structure of this great country. Naturally, right thinking parents rose up, fought back, and did their best to do away with SEL and return public school education to basic, external subjects and learning opportunities. THOU SHALT NOT KILL! Those were the words of the GREAT I AM, Jehovah, the words given by the Creator of the universe, of all things, to Moses. Not killing was a commandment, not a suggestion, one of the ten, but perhaps the most important one. Those Holy, Divine words, once again, were: YOU AND I SHALL NOT KILL! But now, in this woke, radically liberal, transgender society of ours, comes the so-called mercy killing, the ending of life in the form of: ASSISTED SUICIDE. Call it what you will, but in reality, it is indeed KILLING. Twelve states and the District of Columbia allow this so-called mercy killing, this euthanasia, this ASSISTED SUICIDE. More states are considering similar laws, as well. Such laws permit physician/assisted suicide, which euphemistically is referred to as: MAID: MEDICAL AID IN DYING. When certain conditions are met, and a person presumably rational and able to make decisions wants to die, and at least two physicians so agree, a prescription can be issued for a lethal, death-inducing poisonous substance which would then be injected into the body of the person wishing to die, and shortly thereafter, death occurs. That death, presumably, is sanctioned by the family, loved ones, spouse, or other of such a person, and the state sanctions, allows it, and in some cases even encourages it. Most of the states have what is called “the value of the six month left to live rule.” Physicians must certify that there is no cure for the illness and that within six months or less, the individual will die. For that individual, they say, there will be little but pain, suffering, loss of life, and complete bodily deterioration. There is supposedly a five day waiting period between the lethal prescription and the death of the individual by injection. In that period, that person can supposedly change his/her mind and the killing procedure will be aborted. The person would then agree that the inevitably progressive condition which can not be reversed by any known treatment will be the way in which death occurs, and not by the lethal prescription. Those individuals and organizations which endorse assisted suicide think of the cost of the care of the individual during that supposed death-happening six months, and, they say, society is better off financially and otherwise if the suicide occurs. That, to me, is totally unacceptable, even barbaric, and I for one could never authorize or participate in the assisted suicide, the death of a family member or loved one. Could you? Governor Kathy Hochul of the once-great-state of New York says of the assisted suicide bill she signed: “THIS BILL IS ABOUT FREEDOM, AUTONOMY, AND COMPASSION.” Freedom to die? The autonomy to make the decision to die? And all of that is compassion? Not for me. What about you? The reality is that assisted suicide treats human life as negotiable when pain or physical decline begin and take over a human life. The cry for help, which we hear so often in the elderly and disabled, is then redefined as a right to die. But medical science has never been better, developing cures, new medicines, new abilities to treat once untreatable illnesses, sometimes even overnight. There is now, in this day in age, always the possibility of treatment, the alleviation of pain, and even CURE. All such possibilities mitigate against MERCY KILLING. Many believe the elderly, disabled, those suffering from some form of dementia, those in pain, and those easily led and misled by family and physicians can not make any rational decisions, much less the decision to die. Such individuals should not be allowed, legally allowed, by the states and by our courts to make decisions to die! THOU SHALT NOT KILL! My own mother suffered a horrible death from a cancer which could not be treated 40 years ago. Her pain was agonizing. In spite of that, she fought to live every minute of every day, believing it was worthwhile for her to do so. The thought of mercy killing or assisted suicide for our mother was never even discussed as a possibility by our family. Have you had such an experience in your family? Would you have accepted the mercy killing of your loved one, would you? You matter. I matter. Every one of us matters to someone, a few or many. Even more importantly, YOU, all of us, matter to our GOD who created us. He told us this very day was the day He created for us, and we should be glad and rejoice therein, and not think about assisted suicide or killing ourself. That somehow, we in pain and perhaps terminally ill, had purpose for living that day. We were surrounded by friends and loved ones, by caregivers who in fact cared, and the Christ of Glory was our portion that day. That was more than enough to be glad and rejoice, even if such rejoicing could not be verbalized. THOU SHALT NOT KILL! There are now wonderful painkillers available. Cures for almost every kind of disease are at work or on the horizon. There is hope to cure or extend life. There are less reasons than ever

We live, my fellow Americans, in the greatest nation in the history of mankind. There is not, nor has there ever been, a nation like:THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.Never.It is a nation conceived in freedom. It treasures and fosters democracy. It is a constitutional nation, and it is a nation where, as Dr. Martin Luther King so well said, if in fact its citizens live up to its constitution, treasure it, believe in it, and enforce it, all men and women who are created equal can live a life to the fullest.AMERICA. What is America to you? Do you understand your country, your nation, its history, its purpose and meaning, the reality of the:REAL AMERICA?Do you? Right-thinking men and women thank God every day, EVERYDAY, for the privilege of living in America and being an American. Do you? There is no such thing as luck, but only the will of God at work, whether we are aware of that or not. PEACE.Peace, I give unto you. My peace. Not as the world gives. Mine is perfect peace. Let not your heart be troubled and do not be afraid!The words of the BABE OF BETHLEHEM. The most reassuring words, the words, the promises, which this world needs now so desperately. All humankind craves peace now more than ever, and that peace is more elusive than ever.In the end times, so say scriptures, there will be wars, rumors of wars, and physical brutality. Hatred among mankind will replace love. Jealousy, suspicion, lawlessness, and evil conduct will be how the world is. The peace of God in the person of Jesus Christ, THAT PERFECT PEACE, will be nowhere to be found, NOWHERE!Israel battles Hamas, the proxy of the brutal land and its rulers, Iran. There is enmity between the seeds, Arab and Jew, so says the scripture. That enmity is nowhere more evident than what now happens in The Holy Land, The Promised Land. The very land where the Babe of Bethlehem was born, the Christmas ambassador of peace has really never known that peace now more than ever. We are admonished as Christians to:PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.We pray, and pray more, and earnestly so, but that peace eludes in every way. It should be obvious to all that only the Messiah, THE PRINCE OF PEACE, the Babe of Bethlehem, Jesus Christ himself the Messiah, can bring that peace. That will come only WHEN HE COMES.War goes on. Hatred increases between Arabs and Jews, between Israel and Hamas. War goes on between Russia and Ukraine, war fostered by the evil dictator Vladimir Putin and civilians die, thousands upon thousands of innocent men and women, the elderly and children. They die without cause, craving peace, begging for it, praying for it, but it eludes them as the war-like hatred, the Christ-less hatred of mankind prevails. More of this will come. China will become a serious war monger and so will North Korea, and Iran, governed by men who dictate war, hatred, and killing, with no concern for human loss but only human destruction and more of it. The conduct of this world indicates clearly signs of:THE END TIMES.There would be nothing left of this world if those days were not shortened and the only one who can do that, THE PRINCE OF PEACE returns to take charge.When He does, swords will be ground into plowshares. The prince of Peace will make certain there will be no more wars, NO MORE! But, only the Babe of Bethlehem, whose birthday we celebrate soon, can bring that peace, can change whole nations and bring them to the Holy City of Jerusalem, to learn how to cooperate, work together, and foster peace under His rule of love. Only HE can make that happen, no one else.So, we who believe, believe in Him, His salvation message of love, healing, and PEACE. You should not worry or be afraid. Our Lord, the Prince of Peace, has admonished us:LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLEDNEITHER LET IT BE AFRAIDBELIEVE IN ME! Believe in my promises. Believe that I come again and I, He says, will bring the peace, the eternal peace which all humankind craves. I PROMISE I WILL DO THAT. So again, don’t be troubled. Don’t let your heart be troubled. You believe in God, believe in Me and that promise. BELIEVE! I will bring the PEACE OF JERUSALEM and I will bring (Shalom) peace to the whole world.So, don’t worry. If God be for us, who can be against us? No one or nothing can. PEACE-SHALOM I give unto you, so let not your heart be troubled. It reminds you internally, heart, soul, and even stomach with a so-called:SPIRITUAL GUT CHECKwhen something or someone is Biblically, spiritually, or morally:WRONG.Any AI Jesus, whether created in whole or in part, is dead, satanic, and:WRONG.The Spirit of the Living God, the Holy Spirit, will let you know if you ask.The second way to know the real Jesus from a falsehood is through:PRAYER.When in doubt, ask. When troubled, pray. Seek the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, the Christ of Glory, and the Wisdom of God the Father. Seek it with all your heart. Ask, and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock on the spiritual doors and they will be opened unto you. Ask in PRAYER. Ask casually or devotedly on your knees. If you ask sincerely, our Divine Messenger the Holy Spirit will answer. Prayer works wonders. That is especially so when the Holy Spirit is at work.The third way a Christian can know the real from the artificial, the real Jesus from a satanic, artificial creation is through the working of a:SOUND MIND.God has not given us the spirit of fear, especially of AI, but of power, love, and sound mind. Are you powerful? Does love permeate your life? Do you possess a sound mind?Train your mind in the ways of the Lord. Read. Research.One has assurances about AI, about anything and everything, if one is an entire Christian, a whole Christian, fully converted and believing in:MINDINTELLECTHEARTEMOTIONSSOULThe whole spirit of the human being. Any Christian can be all of these things, more or less. You need not be an intellectual giant, but you do need to have an intellectual mind which can decern right from wrong, fact from fiction, and truth from lie. The intervention of the Holy Spirit can be yours if you sincerely ASK through prayer.Modern day preachers use AI for content and research for their sermons. Can you tell where the Spirit takes off in the message and AI takes over? Ask the pastor.Churches will use AI. Evangelical Christian organizations will use AI. Religious programs on radio and television will use AI. Can you tell the difference, can you know or at least sense when AI is at work?The Scriptures, our Bible, tell us, WE THE CHRISTIAN PEOPLE, to:KNOW THE SIGNS OF THE TIMESTO TEST THE SPIRITSNot to be afraid, not to run away from the problem, but to be involved to the extent we can. No one should tell us how to evaluate AI or disparage us if we do not fully understand this pervasive force, its problems and potential. NO ONE!But, YOU must do the best YOU can. If the Holy Spirit draws within, you will know for your mind, heart, soul, and even your stomach will react to the:SPIRITUAL GUT CHECK.That is the bottom line, for Truth lives within and can not be compromised by anything artificial.Three things are dominant:FAITHHOPELOVEAI can never challenge, corrupt, or produce doubt with regard to the real FAITH of a real Christian. NEVER. If AI challenges your faith, accept that as a positive, respond to the challenge, learn more about your faith, and appreciate how wonderful, strong, and lasting it is.AI can never reduce or eliminate the HOPE of a Christian, for all things here on this earth, and even the better things to come.AND LOVE. No matter what AI says, does, or becomes in the future, there is no way, NO WAY that AI can ever reproduce or replicate:LOVE.Real love. And that, my fellow Christians, is the Eternal Love of God the Father in our Lord Jesus Christ. That love at work will triumph every time over the artificial, the unreal, the unscriptural, the unspiritual of the thing called:ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE.Never be afraid, never doubt, never worry, for you can be absolutely certain there will be no artificial intelligence of any kind in Heaven:ONLY THE REAL JESUS!

AI IS CONTRIBUTING TO THE DULLING OF THE HUMAN BRAIN.That was a conclusion reached by no less than a study made by the respected and revered MASSACHUSETTS INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (MIT). This study found that the more internet assistance, such as ChatGPT, and internet search engines that a student uses to help complete an essay, the lower their level of brain connectivity. That kind of mechanical help significantly lessens activity in the brain networks, especially brain functions associated with cognitive processing, attention, and (so very important) CREATIVITY!Therefore, the more AI the less the critical functions of the human brain.WE THE PEOPLE know that AI is becoming a force, invested in and developed by nations and the largest corporations and that its potentiality is unlimited. But there it ends for now, for most of us. We seem to draw shallow conclusions about this incredible force, determined whether we think it is good or bad, or both, and back to life and business as usual. But the day comes, perhaps as soon as the great year 2026, when AI may become the dominant force in our society.Why, so many say today, should we waste brain power and calories solving problems when we can get the answer from ChatGPT. The more we do that, say the so-called experts, the more we miss the:GROWTH OF THE WISDOM MUSCLE!The wisdom muscle. Whether the analogy is to the actual muscle tissue or to the strength and growth of the brain at work developing human wisdom, the analogy is apt, for the human mind must be challenged, required to think, analyze, and evaluate, or in time, the ability to do so wanes, the brain becomes used to LAZY, to thinking substitutes (chatbots), and the machine begins its triumphant road to supremacy over the human brain and the human being. Such a prospect, to many and to me, is frightening indeed.WHAT DO YOU THINK?Here then is another conclusion by the experts regarding the influence of AI chatbots:MINORS, CHILDREN, ARE BEING GOADED INTO COMMITTING SUICIDE!And, there is a continual decline in mental health which is linked to social media, which will only get worse with AI. The negative effects of AI, whatever the positive, can indeed have disastrous effects upon the human being, as AI continues to reach its full potential.Family relationships suffer. Individuals, especially the young, know that AI chatbots can cater to their every need. If AI can do that, why bother with family, with Dad or Mom, with human beings, when our needs can be met by machines.In addition to whatever may be positive economically as a result of AI, the negative effects can be disastrous. AI will undoubtedly grow at an exponential level which will affect the jobs, the livelihoods, and the lives themselves of potentially millions of people. Layoffs are now happening by the tens of thousands. Amazon recently laid off 30,000 people, not replacing them or replacing them with AI. Facebook has done the same. Some predict that in a matter of a few years, the vast majority of so-called white-collar jobs, middle level executives, will no longer exist, fully replaced by AI.And more. AI will continue to grow in an exponential way. It will always find a way to improve itself. What exists today in the AI world will be old technology in short order. Not only will this new technology serve to eliminate jobs by the millions, but it will prevent the creation of new jobs for new and expanded human employment. The result will produce economic and social chaos, never before seen by human beings. It will have an impact far greater than even the most powerful nuclear weapon, and it may be the negative force which produces:THE END DAYS.Like it or not, we better begin to know everything possible, everything we can understand about AI, for this incredible force will continue to influence, erode, and replace so much of life as we know it and every human being in America and the world at large.Christians, says the experts, must engage with AI. We have no choice, said one expert, because:THE ENEMY IS GOING TO USE IT!WE THE BELIEVERS must be involved in the critical function of:ESTABLISHING MORAL AND ETHICAL GUARDRAILS AND GUIDELINES!Otherwise, we will be left powerless and uninvolved as this incredible force grows, matures, and takes over. No matter the look or the condition, the Apostle Paul tells us that our bodies are:THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRITThat is, within us dwells the Third Person of the Trinity, and our bodies should make the Spirit welcomed at all times. That means it is our duty to take care of that TEMPLE, our body, and not abuse it.Scripture also tells us that we are made in:THE IMAGE OF GODAnd, again, that means we should take very good care of the body we have been given, which is given to us in the image of God.That body of ours is endowed with the unbelievable organ called the HEART.It pumps life-giving blood throughout the body and to every organ therein. And that precious organ, like the body itself, must be fully respected, taken care of, nourished, and little or never abused. If it is, then the abuse it may fear the most can occur:THE HEART ATTACK.Such a debilitating attack, damaging or fatal, occurs when a coronary artery becomes partially or fully blocked, keeping blood from reaching the heart muscle. The symptoms of a heart attack can be obvious or subtle. A heart attack can often be mistaken for heart burn, stress, or even a virus. But, a heart attack, greater or lesser, occurs when some or all of the following symptoms occur:First, there can be intense chest pressure. That chest pressure can also producesevere, or in some cases mild, chest pain. That pain then travels to other parts of the body and can be felt in the arms, either or both. That pain can affect the lower jaw, and the neck, and may cause a headache. The pain of the heart attack can travel to the upper back, and again, can be severe or subtle.Other symptoms of THE HEART ATTACK can include shortness of breath, sweating, nausea, and vomiting. Those symptoms can be obvious.A heart attack can produce lightheadedness or a feeling of ABOUT TO FAINT. An obvious symptom of a heart attack is body weakness and a feeling of fatigue. The heart attack, when it occurs, can have any or all of these obvious or subtle symptoms. If they occur in your body, the temple of the Holy Spirit, the body made in the image of God, you should pay immediate attention and recognize the dangers. These symptoms can occur suddenly or gradually, and can occur during any type of activity from rest (even sleep) to strong physical exertion, or any kind of extreme stress.A heart attack victim, or anyone rendering care, should immediately call 911. Paramedics will come to your aid. You should rest in a comfortable position and take an aspirin, so says the medical profession, but you should not drive yourself to a hospital or emergency care: wait for paramedics. You should not eat anything. You should be ready to go, assuming you can, whenever paramedics arrive. The body can suffer permanent damage if medical help is not administered as soon as possible.STROKE. Then there is stroke. A stroke occurs when there is an interruption of blood flow to the brain. That can occur when there is major artery blockage, or it can also occur when there is bleeding in the brain.Know the symptoms of stroke:There can be difficulty walking. There can be trouble seeing in one or both eyes. There can be difficulty speaking. There can be difficulty in understanding others. There can be numbness or weakness on one side of the body, such as facial drooping. There can be headaches, mild or severe. There can be dizziness or loss of balance.If any of these symptoms and conditions exist or persist, CALL 911.Then, sit or lie down. Do not drive yourself to the hospital. Wait for paramedics. Do not eat or drink anything. Wait for real and professional medical help, and do your very best to secure that help as soon as possible.A relative of mine was in the very best of health. Medical physicals showed a body functioning well and without serious problems. Overnight, and almost without warning, that person suffered a severe stroke which left permanent damage to the brain, and consequently to the body. You never know! You need to pay attention to how the heart and the brain in the temple of the Holy Spirit is functioning, and any symptoms which affect the normal function of that very special brain.A friend of mine in their late 30s was in the very best health, a physical specimen, exercising virtually every day. Without warning, that friend suffered a major heart attack and died. There were symptoms, subtle symptoms, that meant a heart attack might occur, but of course at that young age and in that condition, they were ignored. As a result, death occurred.Know these symptoms and pay attention to them if and when any occur.Your body, made in the image of God, and the temple of the Holy Spirit, is one of a kind, the only one you will have. You are, in essence, a custodian, a guardian of this earthly life which God has given you to live in the body he gave you. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, was God/man, possessed of a heart like ours. His heart was full of love, as ours should be. His blood, His blesse

Christians, real Christians, know and understand salvation, the incredible salvation experience, when they have met and believed in Jesus Christ.Real Christians know the experience of forgiveness of sin, the soul and character-changing encounter with the crucifixion, the body and blood of our Lord.Real Christians know how important, vital and life-changing PRAYER is, communion with God Almighty every day.Real Christians study Scripture, the Bible, Old and New Testaments, to learn, to grow, and to show themselves approved unto God work men and women who are never ashamed of the Gospel and their incredible spiritual experiences.Real Christians grow, understand, and are thrilled with the challenges and opportunities of THE JOURNEY OF LIFE.But even real Christians may not know the necessity, the meaning of this extremely important Biblical command:I WILL MEDITATE ON YOUR PRECEPTS. (TEACHINGS, COMMANDMENTS, LAWS, AND GRACE, AMONG OTHERS)Of all the Christians verities, the marvelous act of meditation may be the one most misunderstood or neglected. But Psalm 119:15 implores us to never forget to meditate daily, DAILY! There is no day too busy not to take time to:MEDITATE ON HIS PRECEPTS.Meditation, real meditation, as the process begins, is difficult. For some, it is very difficult. It requires an environment of:COMPLETE QUIET.Spurgeon urges and indicates that meditation, real meditation, can only occur when one enters the so-called CLOSET where there is complete quiet, perhaps darkness, an environment without distraction, noise, and certainly other people. There is an environment where one is alone and only with the company of THE HOLY SPIRIT, and with the presence of our Lord. It becomes the perfect QUIET TIME, away from everyone and everything.It is in that precious environment of SOLITUDE AND SILENCE that one, that every true Christian believer, can really hear and absorb the presence of:THE HOLY SPIRIT.It is only there that this indispensable CHRISTIAN HELPER and Comforter can make His presence known.It is only in that quiet time that real Christian growth and especially understanding of the mysteries of the Gospel can be revealed. It is only there, in the closet, that there can occur the work of the Holy Spirit which includes:ILLUMINTATIONENLIGHTENMENTINSTRUCTIONSINTERPRETATIONINSPIRATIONThose incredible spiritual experiences can only occur when the believer is completely open, and then the Spirit bear’s witness. The mind stands still, a tabula rasa readiness (a completely open and empty mind). All worldly thoughts are postponed, the heart opens wide, and the believer signals ready for the working of the Holy Spirit. Nothing is more difficult, but nothing is more worthwhile, NOTHING!Then one begins the next process, difficult, but necessary and oh-so-valuable, that completely open time when the believer:WAITS ON THE LORD.There is no agenda. The believer brings nothing spiritually or mentally into the closet but lays the soul bare before the Lord and waits, WAITS, on the Lord and the coming of the Holy Spirit. To understand the value, to learn patience, to learn how to wait, to empty the mind, and no matter how intellectual, really learn the deep, mysterious, and incredible truths of the Gospel. It is a discipline which takes time, practice, and constant experimentation. But no Christian experience is complete unless a believer learns how to practice and derive the benefits of:MEDITATION.And the incredible strengthening process of:WAITING ON THE LORD.Done right, then comes the work of the Holy Spirit. That work illuminates, educates, instructs, and, perhaps most importantly, interprets and inspires every believer, like nothing else and no other experience can. Meditation is the process of deep and rich:SPIRITUAL DIGESTION.The meditation experience alone can produce those rich and vital spiritual vitamins, the most important spiritual digestion of anything in the Christian journey.It takes time, quality time, daily time, no day is too busy to set aside quality time for the partnership and the workings of the Holy Spirit in meditation. There is no believer or any day which can not provide:30 MINUTESor more of quality time all alone IN THE CLOSET with the Holy Spirit. If a Christian sincerely wishes to grow in the things of the Gospel and our Lord, the goal should be the setting aside of that quality time, perhaps a minimum of 30 minutes:EVERY DAY.Then, a believer can rightly ASK, and, in that environment, there comes the Scriptural promise that such asking will be answered:ASK AND YOU WILL RECEIVE THE ANSWERS.Meditation, real meditation, is not easy. It takes practice, time, trial and error, and patience, careful love, and patience in this cell phone age. But there is no spiritual experience, Christian experience, in the journey of faith, which is more worthwhile or more necessary if one, any believer, no matter how busy, sincerely desires to experience in this life all that our Lord and the Holy Spirit has pro

One out of two American Adults do not believe that the Bible is literally true. 50% of WE THE PEOPLE do not believe that the Bible is literally true. That is according to the findings of a recent survey conducted by the CHRISTIAN POST.Another survey conducted by LIFE WAY RESEARCH found that 48% of Americans believe:THE BIBLE, LIKE ALL SACRED WRITINGS, CONTAINS HELPFUL ACCOUNTSOF ANCIENT MYTHS BUT IS NOT LITERALLY TRUE.And yet another survey found that 44% of all American Adults do not believe the Bible is 100% accurate in all that it teaches.Then comes the Barna Group’s recent survey which found that only 4% of American Adults and 6% of professing Christians hold a BIBLICAL WORLDVIEW.Those are really fascinating conclusions, are they not? Like all surveys, they are partially true, indicators, generalities, and conclusions reached on the basis of survey information by the respective survey companies. But, as with every survey, there are indeed some facts and some truth, however little. Surveys should never be taken as literally true as these surveys claim that half of American Adults do not take the Bible as literally true.But if the Bible is not literally true (and it is), then no teaching, document, or sacred treatise of any kind is true, absolute, but merely insightful, a guide, little more than human inspiration. With the many different types of cults and religions in this world today, without a document that is literally true and authoritative:ANYTHING GOES.Anything. In short, you could believe anything you wish and what you believe and what you determine as truth, especially spiritual truth, is as good as, as right as, as authoritative as the view of anyone else. ANYTHING GOES.If the sacred writings in the Bible, all 66 books of the Old and New Testaments, are nothing more than helpful accounts of ancient myths, then the spiritual wisdom it contains, the historical accounts of great men and women led by God Almighty, the codes of ethics including the 10 Commandments are little more than advisory, opinions, moral generalities to be followed or not, to be believed or not. If the Bible isnot accurate in all that it teaches, if the Biblical worldview of Scripture is no more than a collection of the great thinkers, then the Judeo-Christian Bible is no different than any other sacred writing, has no more authority, and is little more than a collection of interesting stories, historical accounts, and ancient myths. According to these surveys, one out of two American Adults, including Christians, believe just that. What a tragedy that Americans have such a low view of Scripture and the Bible, not recognizing or believing that it contains the truth, the inspired Word of the Living God. It is no wonder that Americans see Scripture as really irrelevant. If it is one of many, then a form of UNIVERSALISM exists. Truth is everywhere or perhaps DEISM. There is a God, but that God is mysterious, vague, and hard to know, or perhaps as even some secular philosophers admit, there is a GREATER POWER, but that is all that human knowledge can ascertain.It is just simply impossible to be a Christian, a real Christian, and not believe fully and completely in the authoritarian, truthful, factual accounts, anything but mythical, in the 66 books of the Bible. Those books are for the TRUE BELIEVER, the real Christian:THE INSPIRED WORD OF GOD.They are for us the written gift of revelation. Those books are Holy-Spirit-inspired. They contain the truth of life here and eternal life hereafter. They are, those words are, absolute, uncompromising, accurate in every way and authoritative. No other sacred writings measure up. No other human understanding or spiritual insight can compare. Our Bible contains the Holy Revelation and words of God Almighty. And, the full expression and development of the ultimate spiritual facts and truths in the words of Jesus Christ:I AM THE WAYTHE TRUTHTHE LIFENO MAN COMETH TO THE FATHER BUT THROUGH METhat is not mythological, advisory, a spiritual possibility, but rather:THE TRUTH, THE WHOLE TRUTH, AND NOTHING BUT THE TRUTH.So, my fellow Christians, when it comes to your Bible, HIS BIBLE:READ ITBELIEVE ITLEARN FROM ITAPPLY ITTEACH ITBE THANKFUL FOR ITThere is no other truth, spiritual truth. The real Christian knows that the Bible is truth, literal truth. It is accurate, accurate in every way. The Bible offers every Chirstian a Biblical worldview which is absolutely necessary and enlightening in this skeptical day and age. The Bible is more relevant and necessary today than ever.Read it. Treasure it. Ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom, and divine interpretation of the truth therein. No Christian, no real Christian, can ever doubt that the Bible is not the inspired, truthful, accurate:WORD OF THE LIVING GOD!

To be a Christian, especially today, entails a considerable risk of life and limb. That is so the world over, and now it begins, in a real way, in our very own America. To be a Christian invites persecution, ridicule, rejection, to be ostracized from society and the world at large. A great theologian said that to come to Christ is to die. But we who believe knew that before we committed and became one with Him. It then became our lot in life to die to self, to sin, to the world.We knew what He did, we knew the horrendous story of the crucifixion, the persecution of Calvary. We saw no greater love than His as He laid down His life for His friends, for all mankind, for all humankind. We knew that to live for Him, to accept Him, would be to lay our all on the alter, including our bodies, willing to make them a living sacrifice. Charlie Kirk knew that, lived that, and died for that and more.And so did the Apostle Paul. Paul, then Saul, hated Christians and Christianity. It was his mission to persecute and kill the followers of Jesus Christ. No one hated or persecuted Christians more than Saul of Tarsus. He was a Roman citizen, a Pharisee of the Jews, a blood thirsty killer and persecutor of Christians and Christianity. Saul was a master of persecution. So many early Christians died at his hand, or were jailed, or persecuted in physical ways, and lost virtually everything they had.But then came the Damascus Road, where Saul met Jesus Christ and became Paul, and he was never the same. He turned from persecution to preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His conversion was instant, dramatic, and dynamic, change at work from head to toe. The Christ of Glory knew what Saul had done, his horrible persecutions, and He said that He would show Paul the sufferings, the considerable sufferings and persecutions he himself would endure. No Christian could forget the question the Lord asked:“SAUL, WHY DO YOU PERSECUTE ME?”Why, said the Christ of Glory, do you persecute and kill those who love and believe in me, why? There came no answer to that question, but only the beginning of a total commitment to his newfound Lord and master. Saul then became Paul, and he never knew the extent of the promise of Jesus Christ:I WILL SHOW THIS MAN HOW MUCH HE MUST SUFFER FOR MY NAME.And suffer Paul did, big time. Paul described those sufferings in his own words in 2 Corinthians 11. He said,“I have labored extensively for Christ. I have been imprisoned many times. I haveendured beatings without number. I am always in danger of death. Five times I received from the Jews forty lashes less one. I was stoned three times. I was shipwrecked a night and a day. I have been in danger from rivers, from robbers, from my own countrymen, from the Gentiles, and from dangers in cities and desolate places. I have lived in danger from false brothers. I have endured many sleepless nights. I have endured starvation and thirst. I am often hungry and cold and without enough clothing. I am under constant pressure of concern and persecution for all the churches of Jesus Christ I have established.”Compared to those Pauline sufferings, so many of us Christians in America have had it easy, perhaps too easy.Paul eventually endured the ultimate suffering, the ultimate persecution. He was murdered. He was beheaded, a brutal way to die. He lost his life in a split second at the cut of a guillotine. Charlie Kirk, the Christian and Conservative, lost his life in a second from the bullet of an assassin’s rifle.Paul gave his life for the Lord he loved and in whom he firmly believed with all his heart, soul, strength, and mind. So did Charlie Kirk.Violence and vengeance seem to be on the rise in America now more than ever. In many quarters, it is dangerous to be a Christian and a Conservative. And, if one is both Christian and Conservative, the danger is doubled. Charlie Kirk was both. The bullet of an assassin, a young, irrational killer, fame-seeking and revenge-minded, ended Charlie’s life immediately. Charlie Kirk died for his country, and his Lord-Savior. The Apostle Paul died for his Lord Jesus Christ and as a Roman Citizen. They were great men, martyrs, heroes, missionaries, courageous, loving, an example to all of us who followed in so many ways. These two men laid down their lives for their fellow loved ones and families, and in fact all humankind. These two men showed the world that there was no greater love than that of a man, each of them, laying down his life for his friends, for all. And so did Jesus of Nazareth, our Lord. The Christ of Glory died young, 33. Charlie Kirk died young, 31. Paul lived longer, but suffered persecution longer. All three died brutal deaths, the Lord of Glory the most brutal, and violent, and painful, and suffered the most and longest of the three, for us, for you, for me. No greater love was ever shown to mankind than that of Calvary.We often wish for vengeance, retribution, and justice. But our Lord commands us to love our enemies, o
