The Context of White Supremacy welcomes the return of Dr. Joy DeGruy. Author of Post Traumatic Slave Syndrome, Dr. DeGruy is a globally recognized researcher, educator, author and presenter. She was featured in the Hidden Colors documentary series, and has been a featured speaker at the White Privilege Conference. We'll ask Dr. DeGruy for suggestions on how black people can repair from the toxicity of Racist work environments. We'll see if she has recommendations for replenishing ourselves and recognizing when we should let go of a unhealthy job. We'll also see if Dr. DeGruy has tips for restoring our confidence, #BlackSelfRespect.
