Context of White Supremacy host Gus T. Renegade witnessed "anti-asian violence" over the weekend in Seattle, Washington. Downtown Seattle has a reputation for all manner of hooliganism, thuggery, and drug trafficking. After a year of George Floyd protests and Covid-19 restrictions, downtown has seen a rash of business closings and increased riffraff. Seattle's Chinatown is at the lower end of downtown, and they've hosted a number of protests opposing attacks on "asians." Within this milieu, things unfolded in a matter of seconds.
