The Context of White Supremacy hosts the weekly summit on Neutralizing Workplace Racism. We'll review reports the Wells Fargo conducted "fake" interviews under the pretense of commitment to diversity inclusion and equity. Non-white people were interviewed for jobs that were already promised to White candidates. We'll also discuss the tragic shooting death of Dr. Preston Phillips, who was killed in last week's Tulsa, Oklahoma hospital shooting. This is a painful illustration of why non-white people, especially those classified as black, should prioritize their security and well-being and inquire, often if needed, about safety initiatives and workplace violence prevention.
