9. Beyond the Stars: The Journey of TamTam, A Saudi Singer and Songwriter (part 2)

In today’s episode, I’ll be sharing with you the story of a beautiful soul, Reem Tamimi also known as Tamtam Sound.  Reem and I met in San Diego back in 2010 where we attended university. From the moment I met her, I knew singing was her passion. It shined out through her eyes and face whenever she brought up the subject of becoming a singer and songwriter. Reem is a Saudi singer and songwriter. She grew up in Saudi until the age of 14, before moving to the US for boarding school. At the time when she first started her career, we didn’t hear much of young Saudi women musicians.   With good faith and timing, perseverance, and a beautiful unique voice and kind soul, Reem is a true inspiration to many. Not letting her age, her culture, her background get in the way of pursuing a career in music, Reem has gone above and beyond the stars and her story is worth sharing and telling.
