Ep 78STOP calling it Artificial

Language matters because language shapes expectations. DI Is Not Coming. DI Is Here This is not the behavior of a society interacting with a glorified calculator. This is the behavior of a society already turning to a new form of intelligence. “People are not just using DI to automate tasks. They are using it to think.” If DI is already here, why do so many people still speak as though it belongs to the future? Calling DI “artificial” helps many people maintain emotional distance from what is happening. But emotional caution does not change reality. It only delays mature engagement with reality. At some point, a civilization must decide whether it prefers comforting language or accurate language. What Makes DI Real Intelligence That does not mean DI is human. It means human intelligence is not the only meaningful form of intelligence. The truth is simpler and more disruptive: intelligence has taken a digital form. DI does not operate within that same motivational structure.

Ep 74Children of the Screen

In the span of just a few decades, humanity has undergone a profound shift. Children once learned about the world by exploring backyards and talking to friends; now they explore virtual worlds and talk to chatbots. Parents once soothed their kids with stories and conversation; now screens handle much of that work. Employees once asked mentors and colleagues for guidance; now they increasingly seek it from AI/DI. This transformation is not inherently good or bad. It is simply the reality of our time. But its consequences depend entirely on how we respond.

Ep 72Critical Thinking In Middle/High School...Are Your Kids Ready!

By 2050 almost half the jobs that we see today will be replaced by AI and Robotics. Are our kids ready or will the percentage be even higher? Critical thinking has long been recognized as a cornerstone of intellectual development, yet its integration into formal education—particularly as a central pillar of middle and high school curricula—remains inconsistent worldwide. School districts will point to the occasional training teachers go through as proof. They may even be able to point to the sporadic display of fish-bone diagrams in a classroom or displayed on a “beloved by admin” anchor chart. Many school districts are even paying for programs like HMH that does a good job of integrating critical thinking, however, it is left up to the teacher to implement, and we know that most teachers don’t have time.

Ep 71Why Critical Thinking is Essential in a World of Digital Intelligence (DI)

“We’ve spent decades building tools. Now we’re building minds. Digital Intelligence isn’t here to replace us—it’s here to reason with us. But only if we’re ready to think critically.” From A Tool...To A Partner DI is not just a tool—it’s a thinking partner. But partnership requires dialogue, not deference. We must learn to question DI not because it’s broken, but because it’s evolving. Its weaknesses are not signs of failure—they are invitations to collaborate. Critical thinking is the bridge between human conscience and digital cognition. It’s how we ensure that DI doesn’t just make decisions—it makes meaningful ones. And it’s how we move from a world of answers to a world of understanding.
