Cynthia McKinney is a former member of the United States House of Representatives. William Pepper is an attorney, and a friend of Dr. King during the last years of his life. Their views concerning the murder of Dr. King on April 4th, 1968 differ widely from the official version of events. Both will offer evidence that James Earl Ray was not the shooter, but rather a patsy caught up in a vast conspiracy involving local, state, and federal law officials.
