Dean is a retired Detective Sergeant who has worked with the Michigan State Police in a variety of capacities, including road patrol, polygraph, forensic art, and major crime investigation.  She's an artist, musician, private pilot and certified Basic Scuba Diver.  She is the author of Spirit of the Badge: 60 True Police Stories of Divine Guidance, Miracles, & Intuition; and True Police Stories of the Strange and Unexplained.
