Eastern Connecticut splits the difference at 29 degrees with a few extra clouds hanging around. Here's the thing. Winds are barely a whisper at 2 miles an hour. No face stinging gusts. No trash cans rolling down the driveway. Highs stay in the upper 20s to near 30 degrees. That's about 8 degrees below normal, but after the deep freezes we've survived this winter? This almost feels like a gift. Tonight you're looking at upper teens to low 20s. Air quality is excellent, so if you bundle up, it's a gorgeous night for stargazing.
