All under brilliant sunshine. Tonight stays quiet with partly cloudy skies. Lows settle into the mid-20s statewide. Saturday is the pick of your weekend. Central Connecticut could touch 50 degrees. The coast and eastern sections climb to 47. Patchy fog may linger until mid-morning in the valleys, but skies clear quickly. Enjoy it. Because Sunday brings a change. A cold front sweeps through with scattered snow showers between 7 A.M. and early afternoon. Most spots see a coating to an inch. Higher terrain could pick up two to four inches if the moisture materializes. Then the real story arrives. Arctic air plunges in Sunday night. Lows drop into the teens along the coast.
