Both guests have had problems which they have overcome with the help of a caring and supportive culture in the workplace. This experience has made them very aware that it is important leaders recognise that having healthy staff enhances performance. Stigma is still attached to mental health problems and a culture has to be created where this changes.  There should be openness, acceptance, normality and the ability to talk about issues and, most important, acceptance of the power of allowing people to help.
