In Episode 563: Black Project Demon Hounds, Beau shares about two encounters he's had with the dog-like creature known as a dogman. The first encounter took place in Arizona at Hutch Mountain, where the creature approached their camp. The second encounter occurred at Beau's grandfather's house on a military base in California. That creature was smaller than the previous one. In 2019, Beau and his grandfather were involved in an investigation related to human trafficking in a particular cult. His grandfather, who had connections to intelligence agencies, mentioned black projects involving creatures that they referred to as black hounds, devil hounds, and black wolves. The home is very old, with a macabre history: in the 1800s it was used as the town funeral home because it had the most space for mourners to gather. In Episode 387: Hunter Encounters Dogman, we are joined by Emmett. In Episode 397: The Lost Gold of Dents Run, we are joined by Kem and Den Parada, a father-and-son treasure hunting duo based out of Pennsylvania. Back in the 1970s, Den was on the hunt for a lost Civil War treasure made up of 52 gold bars that went “missing” while being transported from Virginia to Philadelphia. In today’s currency, the gold bars were estimated to be worth close to $400,000,000, which would be the largest buried treasure recovered in U.S. history. One day when Den was at work, a psychic entered the store, found his way over to Den, and ended up revealing a location where he believed Den would find the gold. In Episode 544: Beasts and Portals of Hockomock Swamp we are joined in the studio by Phil Anderson! Phil was a guest on The Confessionals in the early days of Episode 50: Haunting Stories of Onset, Massachusetts. He is also heard in the show intro when he says, "Dude, he slithered over to me." Phil and I went to college together and he played a big role in building up my confidence when starting this show and now I return the favor as he is now diving into paranormal investigations with his YouTube channel. He goes by Exploring With Phil and he started out doing Randonautica videos and then migrated into doing more paranormal investigations in the Bridgewater Triangle area of New England. He heavily focuses on the Hockomock Swamp which its been known to have tons of paranormal and cryptid activity as it is also known as The Devil's Swamp.
