S1 Ep 31Citizen Kane Interview, 1942 | Rita Hayworth & Orson's Theater Interview (Marlene Dietrich, Joseph Cotten), 1943
Two interviews in one post. First is his interview discussing the premiere of Citizen Kane at the Geary Theater in San Francisco. Dorothy Comingore is also interviewed, she played 'Susan Alexander Kane' in the film. The interview aired May 28, 1941. Second interview took place in Hollywood for the Mercury Wonder Show on KMTR. The Wonder Show was a magic, variety, and comedy performance stage production that Orson created for the military and the general public. Military soldiers and crowd participants are interviewed before talking to Marlene Dietrich, Joseph Cotten, and Rita Hayworth and Orson, just after their marriage. I enjoy the interviewer rushing people on and off the mic, funny to me. This interview aired September 7, 1943.: : : : :You can donate to show your support for my podcast and the time I put into creating and posting every week.
