The rancor on display against Israel is not criticism of its response to the atrocities of October 7th.
What we are witnessing is a complete delegitimization and dehumanization of Israel’s state and people. Accusations that Israel is an imperialist, colonialist, genocidal country did not begin October 8th. These are deliberate and targeted attacks which were developed decades ago to mask antisemitism in the cloak of criticism of Zionism.
