Rev. Jeremy Klaustermeier, pastor of St. John Lutheran Church in Warrenton, MO, joins the Rev. Dr. Phil Booe to study Romans 11:25-36.

A mystery indeed! St. Paul’s original readers, especially the Jews, would have been bewildered at the notion that the Gentiles were part of God’s plan from the beginning. But after explaining in first half of this chapter how they are grafted into the “olive tree” that is the true Israel and rooted in Christ, the Apostle now says that a “partial hardening” has come upon the Jews “until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.” (v. 25). What does this mean? And what does it mean that “in this way all Israel will be saved?” (v. 26) In this episode, Pastors Booe and Klaustermeier cover the mystery and controversy of this difficult passage.
