Ep 2741EPSTEIN FILES RELEASE IMMEDIATELY BLOWS UP IN DEMS FACE (Ep #1,104)
Unfiltered, no-holds-barred talk radio straight out of Jackson, Mississippi. Clay Edwards and Damien Donald go scorched-earth on the freshly released Epstein files and the Democrats who demanded them… only to watch the trap snap shut on their own party. Hakeem Jeffries caught soliciting funds from a convicted Epstein months after his child-procurement guilty plea Stacy Plaskett exposed texting the convicted pedophile for “advice” during a 2019 congressional hearing — then playing the race card when called out The only Republican “no” vote (Louisiana Rep. Clay Higgins) gets shredded live on air Why the real bombshells will never see daylight (honeypot blackmail, protected innocents, and the limits of what Congress will actually release) Plus: the viral “Chud the Builder” race-baiting disaster, the rotting state of American culture across the board, and why excusing the worst behavior in any community is the fastest way to lose the country Two hours of raw, zero-sugar-coating commentary on cancel culture, political corruption, pedophile networks hiding in plain sight, and the fight for what’s left of America’s soul. Ep 2739WAS TRUMP'S ATTEMPTED ASSASSIN AN MK ULTRA ASSET FOR CIA / FBI?
In this eye-opening segment from Episode #1,102 of The Clay Edwards Show on WYAB (November 17, 2025), host Clay Edwards and guest Andrew Gosser unpack Tucker Carlson's explosive exposé on Thomas Crooks—the would-be assassin who shot at President Trump in Butler, PA last July. They delve into allegations of CIA grooming via MKUltra-style mind control programs, Crooks' hidden online footprint (over 20 social media accounts across platforms like DeviantArt, where he used "they/them" pronouns and engaged in furry communities), and his radical shift from Trump supporter in 2015-2016 to hardcore leftist. Clay and Andrew question the FBI's rapid cover-up: quick cremation to hide potential toxicology evidence of psychotropic drugs, deep sanitization of his home (even bleaching walls and removing silverware for DNA traces), and erasure of his digital history despite violent posts about killing Republicans and beheading people—posts that should've triggered NSA flags during peak censorship eras. They highlight Rep. Tim Burchett's claims of Crooks being a "mark" radicalized by deep state operatives, possibly tied to Antifa or socialist movements, and call for dismantling corrupt agencies like the FBI, CIA, NSA, and IRS. Speculation abounds: Was Crooks trans-adjacent and activated as part of a broader left-wing embrace of such communities to shield them from criticism? Why the secrecy around his medical records and prescriptions? Don't miss this unfiltered deep dive into government overreach, mind control theories, and the need for accountability in America's intelligence apparatus. Ep 2738TRUMP DUMPS MARGORIE TAYLOR GREENE
In this heated segment from Episode #1,102 of The Clay Edwards Show on WYAB (November 17, 2025), host Clay Edwards and guest Andrew Gosser dive into the explosive "MAGA civil war" ignited by Donald Trump's public nuking of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) on Truth Social. Clay declares his allegiance to Team Trump, admitting he's never been a huge MTG fan, viewing her as a grifter whose antics lack authenticity—comparing her to Candace Owens while praising Lauren Boebert's edge. The duo breaks down Trump's lengthy post withdrawing his endorsement, criticizing MTG's constant complaints, low polling for potential Senate or governor runs (around 12%), and her "far-left" shifts, like appearing on The View with "low-IQ Republican-hating anchors" and CNN to apologize for "toxic politics" and call for unity across aisles. They analyze MTG's dramatic responses, including claims of hoax pizza deliveries (pizza doxing), pipe bomb threats at her construction company, and accusations that Trump's "traitor" label is a "dog whistle" endangering her life—phrasing Clay calls straight out of the leftist playbook. Speculation runs wild: Is MTG compromised with compromising photos? Has the Swamp corrupted her, like Liz Cheney or former Tea Party Rep. Joe Walsh? Clay and Andrew predict a primary challenge could end her, with redistricting or self-destruction sealing the deal, as she alienates MAGA while cozying up to never-Trumpers like the Lincoln Project. Don't miss this unfiltered breakdown of political betrayal, grifting, and the future of MAGA. Tune in for raw takes on accountability and resisting the left's playbook. Ep 2737MARTIN'S OWNER JOSEPH STODGHILL - THE STORY OF MARTINS & IT'S FUTURE
In this special segment from Episode #1,102 of The Clay Edwards Show on WYAB, host Clay Edwards sits down with Joseph Stodghill, owner of Martin's Downtown and Martin's Livingston, for an in-depth interview on the iconic Jackson staple. Joseph shares the rich history of Martin's, founded in 1953 as a simple beer spot and deli before evolving into a beloved blue-plate lunch destination. He recounts how his family, originally in the tire business with Bickton Tire, entered the restaurant world when his father bought Martin's in 1997 from original owner Martin Lester—a close family friend. From its early locations near State Street to the current spot since the mid-1980s, Joseph's stories highlight the bar's transformation from a redneck mecca alongside Shooter's Supply and Big Ten Tires to a vibrant community hub. Clay and Joseph reminisce about riding out Hurricane Katrina at Martin's, where they never lost power and served as a lifeline for locals with food, ice, and drinks amid widespread outages. They discuss the challenges of restaurant life, including consistency in dishes like fried pork chops and country-fried steak, and personal battles with addiction in the industry. The conversation turns to resilience during tough times: Joseph's decision to reopen Martin's after 30 days of COVID shutdowns, facing police visits but standing firm to keep staff employed. He credits a pre-installed water filtration system for navigating Jackson's water crises without major disruption. Looking forward, Joseph talks expansions at Martin's Livingston—a former church now hosting weddings, concerts, and community events like crawfish boils and mini parades. He praises the new Jackson mayor's pro-business approach, improved law enforcement collaboration, and plans for safer St. Patrick's Day parades with potential metal detectors and controlled perimeters. Exciting updates include official rodeo after-parties at Martin's Downtown both weekends. Tune in for heartfelt tales of Jackson's past, present challenges, and bright future from a true local visionary. Support Martin's—try the fried or grilled pork chops today at either location! Ep 2736MAGA CIVIL WAR - FULL 3 HOUR SHOW (Ep #1,102)
Join Clay Edwards for Episode #1,102 of The Clay Edwards Show on WYAB, broadcast on November 17, 2025. In this lively Monday morning episode, Clay kicks things off with casual banter about watching a college football game at Cypress Point and Shucker’s, highlighting a performance by the band Common Courtesy. The discussion dives into Mississippi State vs. Ole Miss rivalry, playoff scenarios, and tiebreakers, with insights on teams like Alabama and potential SEC championship implications. Clay shares nostalgic stories from road trips to Florida for an Ole Miss basketball game, a Kid Rock concert in Memphis, and a weekend in New Orleans coinciding with Dale Earnhardt's funeral. The conversation touches on legendary stadiums like the Rose Bowl and UCLA's move to SoFi Stadium. In a fiery segment, Clay critiques Michelle Obama's comments on race and beauty standards, questioning her focus on white people and cultural appropriation. He debates the Obamas' ongoing relevance in the Black community and contrasts Barack's legacy as advancing gay rights more than Black issues. Hour two features guest Andrew Gosser discussing a "MAGA civil war" sparked by Donald Trump's withdrawal of support from Marjorie Taylor Greene, labeling her antics and left-leaning appearances on The View and CNN. They analyze MTG's responses, including claims of threats and pizza doxing, and her shift toward apologizing for "toxic politics." The episode explores Tucker Carlson's exposé on Thomas Crooks, the Butler, PA shooter, alleging CIA grooming via MKUltra-style programs, hidden social media accounts, and a quick cremation to obscure evidence. They call for dismantling agencies like the FBI and CIA. In hour three, Joseph Stodghill, owner of Martin's Downtown and Livingston, joins to share Martin's history since 1953—from its origins as a deli to expansions and blue-plate lunches. They discuss navigating COVID shutdowns by reopening early, water crises, and future plans like rodeo after-parties, concerts at the Livingston venue (a church-turned-event space), and enhanced parade safety measures in Jackson. Tune in for unfiltered talk on sports, politics, and local business resilience. Don't miss Martin's fried or grilled pork chops today! Ep 2735FAFO FRIDAY - FULL SHOW (Ep #1,101)
In episode #1,101 of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards is joined by Damien Donald for an unfiltered dive into current events and personal accountability. The duo kicks off with a viral TikTok story where a Kentucky woman calls conservative Baptist churches, posing as a needy mother with a crying baby, to test their compassion—revealing her ulterior motive tied to abortion debates. They critique the woman's tactics and discuss broader issues like personal responsibility in pregnancy, Plan B availability, and the cultural divide on life choices. The conversation shifts to SNAP benefits fraud, spotlighting a Jefferson Davis County case where a woman was arrested for allegedly receiving over $25,000 by misreporting income. Edwards and Donald explore generational welfare dependency, the lack of positive role models, and how government programs can enable cycles of poverty without accountability. They share laughs over a high-speed chase from Pearl to Jackson, where a shoplifting duo in a Chrysler 300 led police on a wild pursuit, ending in arrests for felony fleeing, shoplifting, and weapons charges. Dubbed the "F'ed Around and Found Out" champions, the story underscores consequences for criminal behavior. On a deeper note, Edwards and Donald discuss their personal pillars: abortion, free speech, the Second Amendment, and faith. Donald opens up about his transformation from a life of crime, drugs, and prison to becoming a first-time homeowner and business owner, crediting discipline, self-reflection, and faith for his turnaround. They emphasize rejecting victim mentality, embracing accountability, and how small daily changes lead to profound growth. The episode wraps with a defense story of a Georgia veteran who fatally shot three masked teens invading his home, sparking debate on self-defense laws and parental demands for justice. Tune in for raw talk on culture, corruption, and redemption that challenges excuses and champions hard work.
Ep 2734CALL OF THE YEAR - MASTER D SAYS "BLACK ARE BOYCOTTING THANKSGIVING & BLACK FRIDAY"
CALL OF THE YEAR - MASTER D SAYS "BLACK ARE BOYCOTTING THANKSGIVING & BLACK FRIDAY"
Ep 2733BROADMOOR BAPTIST CHURCH GET'S ULTIMATE LAST WORD
In this segment from Episode 1100 of The Clay Edwards Show, Clay dives into a viral video where a woman calls churches, including Broadmoor Baptist, pretending to need baby formula for her child. The Broadmoor rep refers her to SNAP resources instead of handing over cash, leading the caller to accuse them of lacking compassion. Clay calls it out as a setup and hustle, defending the church for spotting the scam. He plays a rebuttal video from Broadmoor dated October 31—before the call—announcing a $10,000 donation to Madcap in Canton for food aid amid SNAP disruptions, plus a full November food drive at broadmoor.org/missions. Is this exposing hypocrisy or real charity? Clay says the church values the hurting but won't enable bad decisions. Listen for his fiery take on accountability vs. entitlement.
Ep 2732THE REAL REASON BULLDOG CLOSED IT'S JACKSON LOCATION
In this segment from Episode 1100 of The Clay Edwards Show, Clay breaks down the closure of Jackson's iconic Bulldog Bar and Restaurant after 25 years on Ridgewood Road. The owners cited post-pandemic business decline—fewer crowds, more people ordering in, and earlier nights out—as the official reason, even donating surplus food to Stewpot Community Services. But Clay calls it out: the real culprit is Jackson's urban decay turning it into a "third world hellhole." White patrons stopped showing up due to safety fears, and the bar never adapted to the shifting "modern urban demographic." He ties it to other recent exits like PetSmart and TJ Maxx relocating to Ridgeland, and Arby's on High Street shutting down. Is crime and demographics killing Jackson's nightlife? Clay says yes—listen for his unfiltered take on why spots like this can't survive anymore.
Ep 2731THURSDAY - FULL SHOW (Ep #1,100)
In Episode 1100 of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards dives into a mix of personal rants and hot-button topics. He shares morning commute frustrations, reflects on aging and cold weather, and reignites his controversial stance that addiction isn't a disease—it's a choice rooted in accountability, not an excuse. Drawing from his own past, Clay argues that quitting cures it, unlike real illnesses like cancer or AIDS. Shifting gears, Clay dissects the latest Epstein-related emails mentioning Trump, dismissing them as a "nothing sandwich" meant to smear without substance. He speculates on political motivations and insists if there was dirt, it would've surfaced years ago. The show tackles local issues too: the closure of iconic Jackson spots like The Bulldog, attributing it to post-COVID shifts and urban decline, plus other business exits. A caller announces a "blackout" boycott around Thanksgiving, sparking Clay's sarcastic take on its impact. Clay addresses backlash from a viral video of a woman calling churches for help, playing a rebuttal from Broadmoor Baptist showing their real efforts to aid families via food drives amid SNAP disruptions. Finally, Clay announces a new livestream series for raw debates with critics—face-to-face, no hiding behind anonymity. Tune in for unfiltered takes on life, politics, and culture. Ep 2730TikTok Skank Harasses Broadmoor Baptist Church W/ Fake Starving Baby Hoax
In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards spotlights a viral TikTok prank where a Kentucky woman calls churches across America, including Broadmoor Baptist in Madison, Mississippi, pretending to need formula for a starving baby. Edwards deems it disingenuous, pointing out the caller's pro-abortion views and hypocrisy, while defending churches as not required to offer immediate aid—they partner with organizations for such needs. Listener calls and texts spark debates on church roles, personal accountability, community involvement, and self-reliance, with Edwards emphasizing that churches serve members first and stereotypes about aid seekers are often earned.
Ep 2729WEDNESDAY - FULL SHOW (Ep #1,099)
In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards dives into unfiltered discussions on pressing issues in Jackson, Mississippi, and beyond. He reflects on his pre-election predictions, admitting he was wrong about expected post-vote chaos but noting rising tensions and potential future unrest. Edwards shares a Facebook memory conceding his misjudgment on America's direction, praising democratic resilience while critiquing ongoing political divides. The spotlight turns to a viral TikTok prank where a Kentucky woman calls churches, including Broadmoor Baptist in Madison, pretending to need formula for a starving baby. Edwards calls it disingenuous, highlighting the caller's pro-abortion stance and hypocrisy, and defends churches' roles, emphasizing they're not obligated to provide instant aid. Listener calls and texts debate church responsibilities, personal accountability, and community support, with Edwards stressing stereotypes and the need for self-reliance. Shifting gears, Edwards analyzes President Trump's recent comments on H1B visas and Chinese students, agreeing on the need for skilled workers due to America's workforce gaps but questioning benefits from overpaying foreign students. He cites examples like factory jobs and criticizes low-skilled labor issues. The episode covers a Murrah High School teacher and football coach arrested in Rankin County for trafficking 13 pounds of marijuana and 7 pounds of methamphetamine, linking it to cultural decay from hip-hop influences. Finally, Edwards highlights repeat offender John Arthur Banks, guilty of burglarizing 15 downtown Jackson businesses yet still free, critiquing "compassion industries" that enable such behavior. Tune in for raw, no-holds-barred talk on corruption, culture, and solutions.
Ep 2728"15 Burglaries, 6 Guilty Pleas, Zero Jail Time: The Shocking Story of John Arthur Banks"
In this eye-opening episode of The Clay Edwards Show, we dive deep into the frustrating saga of John Arthur Banks, a notorious downtown Jackson, Mississippi bum who's been terrorizing local businesses for over two decades. From my days owning nightclubs in downtown Jackson (2003-2011), I've seen this guy's harassment firsthand. Despite being arrested for burglarizing at least 15 businesses and pleading guilty SIX TIMES, Banks keeps getting released thanks to Hinds County's infamous "catch and release" program. He's free to strike again in a city fighting to recover from eight years under Mayor Chokwe Antar Lumumba's socialist policies. Jackson beat New York to electing a radical mayor—want proof of "communism done right"? Come tour Jacktown with me. We break down the shocking details from Jackson Jambalaya's latest exposé: Banks' criminal history spanning 2009-2024, lenient sentences from judges like Bill Gowan, William Kidd, Faye Peterson, Johnny McDaniels, and Damon Stevenson, and the DA's failures (shoutout to Jody Owens). Highlights include: 2009: Indicted for business burglary; pleaded guilty, full 5-year sentence suspended. 2017: Burglary at Jocko's Tacos; 7 years, 4 suspended (lived at Gateway Shelter). 2018: Burglary at Stanley's Wine and Liquor; 7 years, 3 suspended (concurrent with 2017). 2019: Burglary at Downtown Snack Shop; 7 years, 2 suspended + drug/alcohol treatment. 2020: Two counts for Greenbrook Flowers and Iron Horse Grill (2019 hits); 7 years, 2 suspended. 2022: Burglary at the Hood Building; 7 years, 2 suspended (no habitual offender enhancement). 2022 (again): 10 COUNTS including La Cazuela, Kiefer's, Shero's, Pizza and Daiquiri Shop, Steve's Deli, Mississippi Farmers Market, Downtown Drugstore, Pig and Pint, Finian's, and Tatum & Wade Law Firm—remanded as part of prior case. 2024: Capitol Police arrest for Downtown Drugstore, Native Coffee, and Lou's Restaurant (plus another); 1-year revocation, but paroled quickly. Indicted as habitual offender—trial set for July 2026. This guy's an economic terrorist, driving away customers and businesses. We also touch on recent closures: Arby's on High Street shutting down for good, plus PetSmart (I-55 North) and TJ Maxx (East County Line Road) relocating to Ridgeland's Highland Colony Parkway. Why? Crime and mismanagement—Jackson going full "Jackson." My raw, unfiltered reaction: No sympathy for these repeat offenders. I've dealt with them for years—most stories are lies, just excuses for dope. Police do their job, but prosecutors, judges, and MDOC keep releasing them. Businesses are fleeing—can you blame them? Sponsored by Men's Health of Mississippi: Guys, if you're dealing with low energy, stubborn belly fat, lack of muscle tone, reduced sex drive, or no morning wood, it could be low testosterone. I'm a client—3 years in, down 80 pounds, metabolic age of 36 (I'm 48!), and in the best shape ever. Get a FREE testosterone screening at their Madison clinic. Ep 2726BREAKING: MSU student arrested, accused in "F' THE JEWS" incident Dave Portnoy, founder of Barstool Sports
STARKVILLE, Miss. — A Mississippi State University student has been arrested and charged with disturbing the peace following an incident over the weekend involving Dave Portnoy, founder and owner of Barstool Sports. Portnoy was recording a "One Bite" pizza review outside a Starkville restaurant on Nov. 7, when someone made an antisemitic comment and threw coins at him. A video of the incident, which was posted to X, has since gone viral. The Starkville Police Department said in a statement that it was made aware of the video over the weekend. Ep 2723MASSIVE MONDAY SHOW - 3 FULL HOURS (Ep #1,069)
In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards kicks off Motivational Monday with a fresh perspective on starting the week strong—seeing it as an opportunity to hustle, build wealth, and put food on the table. Drawing from personal experiences, Clay shares stories about avoiding debit cards to prevent overspending, getting "micro-billed to death" by subscriptions, and tips for managing finances smarter, like negotiating discounts on services and tracking mystery charges. The conversation shifts to practical advice on buying vehicles: why leasing might beat financing for new cars (especially imports like Honda or Toyota), using special payment plans (SPP) for warranties to avoid interest, and opting for pre-owned trucks to save big. Clay emphasizes real-world strategies to cut costs without sacrificing quality. A major segment dives into the ongoing government shutdown and a Supreme Court victory for the Trump administration, blocking full SNAP benefits amid legal battles. Clay argues for personal responsibility, sharing his own rock-bottom story from 2010—overcoming addiction, poverty, and humiliation at a food pantry—to prove anyone can turn their life around without relying on handouts. He critiques entitlement, calls for cold-turkey cuts to welfare programs to force self-reliance, and highlights how inflation and government dependency have propped up a false economy, as seen in overflowing Walmart shelves. Clay recounts a touching call-in story from content creator Anton Daniels, where a woman with organ transplants received help, reinforcing that aid should go to those truly in need—not the "lazy." He ties this to broader societal issues, urging conversations with representatives to reform who qualifies for benefits. Local news updates include businesses fleeing Jackson (like Arby's on High Street closing permanently, and PetSmart/TJ Maxx relocating to Ridgeland), blaming crime and mismanagement. Clay also covers a Supreme Court win demanding states undo unauthorized SNAP payouts, warning of "catastrophic" disruptions in blue states. The show features listener texts and calls on felons' rights to firearms and voting, debating paths to restoration after serving time, with compromises like home-defense shotguns. Clay stresses forgiveness, second chances, and protecting families in high-crime areas. Finally, breaking news on arrests in the 2023 JSU student homicide, critiquing initial mishandlings and praising persistence from authorities. Plus, a teaser on Trump’s $2,000 tariff rebate proposal and its potential forms (checks, tax breaks, etc.). Ep 2722TAKING PERSONAL ACCOUNTABILITY FOR ALL MY FAILURES
The first segment of this mornings show was really personal for me, I rehashed some of my biggest personal failures and how I was able to overcome them by accepting personal blame, responsibility and most importantly "Accountability" for my actions that lead to my failures, even if someone else's involvement triggered the failures.
Ep 2721FELON & FIREARMS RIGHTS, W/ CONVICTED FELON: DAMIEN DONALD (Ep #1,096)
Convicted felon Damien Donald joins the show this morning to discuss felons getting their right to own firearms back after they've paid their debt to society. This was one of the better shows we've done in a while, a steady topic throughout the better part of the entire show past the first segment which was about personal responsibility and being accountable for your own mistakes.
Ep 2720IT'S TRULY "BLACK OVER EVERYTHING" IN THE BLACK COMMUNITY (Ep #1,095)
1- Washington County citizens and church leaders are rallying behind their disgraced sheriff, who's just been arrested and charged with drug trafficking—this blind support exposes a cultural decay in the Black community that's even more profound than we thought! 2- BLACK PRIVILEGE STRIKES AGAIN: Yet another prime example of cultural rot—a would-be rocket scientist, engineer, or astronaut turned thug—got arrested for killing a Hinds County Deputy in Vicksburg. A quick look at his rap sheet shows zero reason he should've been free on the streets, but those Black female judges in Hinds County seem to have a soft spot for these fatherless criminals. I've got plenty to unpack on this one.

A local lawyer and content creator tried to bait me into going and eating with the homeless people of Jackson so I can understand their situations better because that's what he does. Ep 2706JACKSON THUG THREATENS TO SHOOT & KILL JD VANCE & TATE REEVES
A Jackson, Mississippi thug by the name of Bryce Green commented ""someone take the headshot now" under Gov. Tate Reeves photo of him welcoming JD Vance & his wife to Mississippi yesterday. I demand law enforcement treat this like they would if he was a white conservative making the same comments about a Democrat politician.
Ep 2705I'M TIRED OF THIS SH!T (Ep #10,89)
I'm fed up with people trying to guilt me into doing things like they're they only people to ever do anything for the homeless or less fortunate in the Jackson area. The first segment of the show is me going scorched earth on this issue then that just sets the tone for the rest of the episode.

Ep 2698LYNN FITCH COMMITS POLITICAL SUICIDE W/ CAPITOL POLICE / JAYLEN LEWIS CASE
In this segment of The Clay Edwards Show, host Clay Edwards launches a sharp critique against Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office for what he calls a "witch hunt" prosecution of two former Capitol Police officers, Frederickson and Reinholt, over the fatal shooting of Jalen Lewis. Edwards highlights that the AG's own expert witness reviewed the evidence and concluded the use of force was justified and not excessive, pointing to photos of Lewis with guns and drugs at the scene. He expresses shock at the charges, framing it as unnecessary "conservative-on-conservative violence." Edwards also blasts WLBT reporter CJ Lemasters for an article that refuses to acknowledge the officers' innocence, insisting they "didn't do it." The rant underscores Edwards' support for the Capitol Police's role in maintaining order.

Join Clay Edwards on this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, broadcasting live from the Men's Health and Women's Wellness Studios on 103.9 WYAB in Flora, Mississippi. As the station gears up for a massive upgrade to 50,000 watts, Clay discusses the excitement of reaching new areas like Itta Bena, Southaven, Oxford, Starkville, and Copiah County, aiming to dominate central Mississippi's talk radio scene. Clay gives shoutouts to influential figures who've shaped his career: Scotty Ray of the Scotty Ray Report for his news coverage and online advice, Kim Wade for radio and success tips, and Michael Wimberly for business insights. He also reflects on learning from others' mistakes and the value of OG guidance for young creators. Dressed in a FAFO hoodie (soon to be restocked), Clay shares his laid-back Mississippi style and looks forward to his first Good Ol' Boys party—a big political hoedown in Oxford with heavy hitters like Lynn Fitch. Despite recent criticisms, he's eager to mingle and make waves. Responding to a listener's Facebook query, Clay dives into the shocking mid-season departure of coach Lance Pogue from Brandon High School football. Sources suggest a toxic environment, culture clashes, and player unrest led to the split, despite high hopes for a state championship. Clay praises the Bulldogs' dedicated fan base and alumni, emphasizing that while players earn wins, the community's commitment deserves a title—it's just a matter of time. After a quick break, Clay unleashes a fiery critique of Attorney General Lynn Fitch's office for pursuing charges against former Capitol Police officers Frederickson and Reinholt in the Jalen Lewis shooting. Citing evidence from their own expert witness, Clay argues the force was justified, not excessive, and slams the "witch hunt." He also calls out WLBT's CJ Lemasters for refusing to accept the officers' innocence, labeling it conservative-on-conservative drama. Ep 2695BREAKING NEWS: Expert finds indicted former Capitol Police officers did not use excessive force
In this episode of The Clay Edwards Show, we dive into a controversial officer-involved shooting in Jackson, Mississippi. A retired FBI expert, Jeffery Artis, has deemed the deadly force used by Capitol Police officers Michael Rhinewalt and Steven Fredrick as justified during a 2022 traffic stop that killed Jaylen Lewis. On September 25, 2022, officers attempted to pull over Lewis's Jeep, linked to auto burglaries. The vehicle struck a police car and accelerated toward the officers, prompting them to fire. Lewis was armed with handguns, an assault rifle, and drugs were found inside. Despite the officers' fears for their lives—backed by witness accounts, including passenger Selena Hayes, who said Lewis was fleeing, not targeting them—Rhinewalt and Fredrick face manslaughter charges from the Attorney General's office, indicted in April 2025.Artis, drawing on Supreme Court standards, argues the response was objectively reasonable, viewing the vehicle as a deadly weapon. Join us as we unpack the evidence, expert analysis, and implications for police accountability.
