This year, the High Museum of Art announced artist Ebony G. Patterson as the 2023 recipient of the David C. Driskell Prize in recognition of her contributions to African American art. Patterson joins City Lights to discuss how her multiple media work addresses visibility issues through explorations of class, race, gender, age and acts of violence in the context of "postcolonial" spaces.
