We celebrate 100 years of the activist and writer James Baldwin by revisiting Lois Reitzes’ 2018 conversations on “If Beale Street Could Talk.” She spoke with director Barry Jenkins and actor Colman Domingo, who portrays Joseph Rivers in the film. Also, we listened back to Reitzes’ conversation with author Robert Jones Jr. about his 2021 novel, “The Prophets.”
